Mark discovered this new bakery one weekend when I was out of town.  On a quest to consume more on our walks in this beautiful weather…we stopped in.  Aux Merveillleux des Fred makes these meringue buttercream cookies in quite a few flavors.  They are very light and airy.  Or the part I had was. I think you need to eat it from the side to capture the meringue and the light buttercream.  But Mark ate the top and I ate the bottom so I had more meringue.  For more info, check out their website here.  Or visit their only US store on 8th Ave near Jane St.
