The bakery that left this space left over 2 years ago at this point.   It was a little spot where the seniors in the neighborhood would gather.  Then Jim Lahey of Sullivan Street Bakery took over the spot next to his pizza place Co.  I think we were supposed to see it open last September (and my last update was April 2011).  Then I read it would be the new year.  It certainly wasn’t January.  But we are getting close!  The plywood is gone!
